LED Dance Suit
In my "How to Build an LED Dance Suit" I share my experience building a dance suit with LED lights using a Raspberry Pi 4 and various wiring components. I talk about some of the challenges I faced, like deciding whether to run the wires inside or outside the suit. I ultimately chose to run the wires on the outside and spray-painted them black to make them less noticeable. Along the way, I encountered issues like a loose connection and had to shorten a wire. After installing the LEDs, I planned to vacuum the suit to remove dust, then spray the white wires black before testing the setup.

I also offer advice on wiring LED lights to the suit. I emphasize the importance of planning the placement of the lights ahead of time and recommend using waterproof silicone to keep them secure. I suggest testing the lights on a breadboard before making permanent connections. To prevent overloading the battery pack, I recommend using a power bank or multiple batteries to ensure enough power. Throughout the guide, I stress safety and encourage builders to work carefully and meticulously to avoid accidents.
