STS Pi

This cool little beginners robot chassis is designed to be used with our Explorer HAT, Explorer HAT Pro, or Explorer pHAT boards though it will work with other motor drivers!

The kit is a great way to introduce yourself to robots and controlling motors with your Raspberry Pi. It even includes a camera mount so your little robot can take pictures while it's roaming around!  There is no soldering required and the whole kit can be put together with a small flat-head screwdriver.

Your STS Pi has two controllable wheels which can be programmed to drive forward, backward, left, right and to stop.  Using Python, this is coded with the name of the motor and the time value , for example eh.motor.one.backwards(100).  At the top of your program add the line import explorerhat as eh
To move forward:
eh.motor.one.forwards(100)
eh.motor.two.forwards(100)

To move backwards
eh.motor.one.backwards(100)
eh.motor.two.backwards(100)

To stop:
eh.motor.one.stop()
eh.motor.two.stop()
